Greater Manchester’s Urgent Eye Care Service can provide assessments and treatment quickly if a sudden change in vision, red or painful eyes or new flashes or floaters are seen.

Dental support can be accessed via the Greater Manchester dental helpline (0333 332 3800), which is available from 8am to 10pm every day, including weekends and bank holidays for those who need help urgently when their practice is closed, or do not have a regular dentist.

If you have not had a consultation with a GP or Clinician for the issue you will be offered an appointment with the First Contact Physiotherapy service.
If you already have been assessed for this problem, your referral will be triaged and offered an appointment in due course.

The Surgery offers vaccination for influenza in line with Department of Health guidelines to all patients with the following conditions:
- Chronic Long Term Conditions such as Chronic Lung Disease
- Chronic Neurological Disease such as Multiple Sclerosis
- Heart Disease
- Diabetes
- Chronic Kidney Disease
- Chronic Liver Disease
- Immunosuppressed patients
- Aged over 65 years
- Living in residential care homes or other long stay care facilities
- Carers in receipt of Carer’s Allowance or who are the main carer for an elderly or disabled person
- Pregnant
We invite all our Patients in these groups to make an appointment with the Practice Nurses as early as possible prior to or during the flu season which begins in September by contacting the Reception.
The surgery runs a weekly Baby Clinic for immunisations and developmental checks. Appointments are not needed and it is held from 8am to 10am and 1pm to 3pm on Tuesdays. Please note the 8 week check up is only available in the afternoon.

The aim of the screening is to detect breast cancer at an early stage and early detection may mean simpler and more successful treatment and saving lives.
